A challenge I face as a photographer is to find meaning in the things I photograph. The need to be in the moment, yet photograph as an omniscient observer, is a tightrope I cross each time I pick up a camera. It doesn’t always work out, but with Meg and Matt’s wedding, the balance was there and I’m excited about the results. Symmetry comes to mind when thinking about their day. The sun, temperature, color palette, location and venue all worked amazingly well together to produce some special photographs. Meg and Matt’s 10+ years together was celebrated by lifelong friends and coworkers as well as family members from all parts of the country.
I hope these photographs serve as a reminder. Not only as the culminating event of a long relationship, but as a reminder to always love each other the way its clearly shown in your wedding photographs. I wish you both a life full of wonderful adventures together.
